The past few days I've watched a ton of movies, way more than usual. Within a forty-eight hour period: If..., Sunshine (in the theater), La Jettee, Pumping Iron II: The Women, Ladies & Gentlemen The Fabulous Stains, Nosferatu, Hot Fuzz.

I watch movies on my computer, so it's become a test of how much I enjoy the movies if I don't minimize the movie to half screen and use the internet while I watch. That being said, I used the internet during most of If..., small parts of Nosferatu and Pumping Iron II, and I read Entertainment Weekly during a lot of the non-concert scenes in The Fabulous Stains.

After Sunshine I found a great feature on Slate.com called the "Spoiler Special," where this woman with a really fun speaking voice talks through movies and spoils them in a logical way. If you're curious: "no Sunshine sp0ilerz plz."

My favorite movies are Election and Pumping Iron, both movies where the well-trained victor crushes the well-meaning challenger in the final hour.

What does that say about me? Am I a Tracy Flick or an Arnold?

While I've always been frustrated at those who don't "deserve" things, I'm basically a soft-hearted girl who cries at the end of Spellbound even though I know what's going to happen every time. I root for the girl from Texas, and even though I don't follow baseball in an intense way I root for the Mets.

Basically I need to justify my underdog tendencies with my work ethic.

Ok I am not a hater, that Justice album is good but not great and I am currently sick of it because I've heard it too many freaking times. Perhaps this will change later.
