Whenever I see a movie produced by Judd Apatow, to quote Zan, I feel like I've "seen a different movie than everyone else in America did." While Superbad had a lot of funny scenes with Michael Cera looking earnest (and the line about Jonah Hill's back being located on his cock), it didn't really satisfy me as a "female viewer." And why was Knocked Up three hours long?
I'm gonna go watch Freaks and Geeks.

What the...MOLLY! Was the scene of Michael Cera singing with cokeheads not worth it? WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!
i know what you mean. i liked superbad, but mostly just the parts with michael cera. he didn't write superbad though, so that's probably why i could stomach it. i couldn't sit through knocked up and the 40 year virgin was possibly the most upsetting movie i've ever seen.
i watched all of freaks and geeks recently and though i liked it well enough, it seemed way over hyped.
jamie - what you and other superbad fans forget is that one funny scene does not make a whole good movie.
cynthia - hi!
There are numerous great scenes in Superbad. Obviously when numerous people I know and trust also love the movie, I know I am in the right.
