Potential Halloween costumes: Three Dogs Playing Poker (group effort), the cover of The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Eve from Wall-E, a taco (to get a free burrito at Chipotle) (this costume is a definite)

Past Halloween costumes:
Caribbean Sea/Mediterranean Sea, fifties waitress on rollerskates, "puppies for sale" (stole this idea from American Girl Magazine Halloween spread) a daffodil, a pornographer, Cujo, Michael Kennedy, a popular (this was in seventh grade) (I wore velour leggings) (I don't think anyone "got" what I was supposed to be)

I loved American Girl Magazine but do not remember "puppies for sale" - DETAILS? Also, how did you dress up like a Pornographer.

Three Dogs Playing Poker sounds pretty amazing.

Carrie - do you mean "at the time, I was laughing at you" or do you mean now?

Jamie - I forgot a Halloween costume and had received a Celebrity Skin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celebrity_Skin_(magazine)) tee shirt in the mail the day before, and at Brandeis there were always spare paste-on moustaches on hand, so I had those, aviators, gold chains, fake chest hair drawn on with eyeliner. A hideous costume yet a decent one for the supplies on hand.

great use of parenthesis (populars did not waste time worrying about what us bohemians were wearing on halloween)

i used to wear velour leggings ALL the time...was i popular???

..no. i think the baggy eggplant-fade-to-lilac, crushed velvet mock turtleneck canceled out any cool.
