A strange change has come over me. I'm way more of a "veggie burrito," "egg dish" sort of person and don't crave meat or have it that often. But. Lately I've been thinking about pork a lot and it's climbed to the ignoble spot of my number one meat of choice. Pork. It's so weird because 1) it's certainly the least practical meat and never one I've prioritized in the past and 2) pigs are the animals I'd like to eat the least; I have the most sympathy for them; some pigs are known to be so smart that they try to escape their cages by struggling with latch-locks with their noses. It's not like fish where I fear them, and thus feel no remorse.

Really? Chicken no good? I'm surprised, really. But I shouldn't be. That is so like you and I'll never forget this. Time and time again as I gaze upon those arching mountain ways, lolling eastward from where I sleep and wake I'll wonder, not long, but I'll wonder if things could really ever be as true tomorrow as they seemed to me today.
