LAWYER 1: Could Molly be friends with Ben Stiller "in real life" ? I'd like to make the arguement that yes, she could. Using the evidence from recent film Greenberg...
LAWYER 2: Your honor, I object. Stiller is just a priviledged Los Angeles brat.
LAWYER 1: But in Greenberg, he showed more of a sense of self; delivered lines with such comic timing...it seems like he'd be able to make fun of himself, you know? He's not making jokes about Billy Corgan with Bob Odenkirk anymore, or making fun of a handicapped guy while getting kicked in the balls. He's an adult who it'd probably be interesting to get dinner with.
LAWYER 2: But just dinner; could you honestly see Rosen and Stiller's friendship having legs? I mean, he's a classic self-obsessed comedian who obviously hates women - he's married to the new Marsha Brady, and manages to make her even less funny when he places her in his movies.
LAWYER 1: But he had a cameo in Freaks and Geeks!
LAWYER 2: Both Night at the Museum movies are about as recent a trip into Stiller's current emotional state as Greenberg...do you really want the client to be hanging out with the man who brought us Night at the Museum?
LAWYER 1: You know what I say? Great! He loves history.
LAWYER 2: Don't make excuses for him.
