Yesterday I saw Spring Awakening and I'm not sure what to make of it. I respected that it was a new Broadway musical that wasn't a rehashing of the songs of a 70's musician, but I sort of feel like all the characters were underdeveloped and nothing happened? Like at least in Rent you know who has AIDS and who doesn't. However, male production numbers and bright lights are okay by me!
