This excruciatingly personal thing happened at the Tenemenet Museum:
MUSEUM EDUCATOR: And, we're about to take a tour focused on the textile workers of the Lower East Side. Does anyone here have any experience with the textile business? Has anyone ever worked there?
(silence)
MUSEUM EDUCATOR: Um, does anyone have any questions about how the textile industry runs, today or in our past?
LARGE WOMAN: Yes, how come when you buy clothing that's a size, say, fourteen, with some companies a size fourteen is smaller than others?
MUSEUM EDUCATOR: I'm really not sure.
LARGE WOMAN: Well, they should try to figure that out.
