I have a problem where I always know what to say a week after Tom Scharpling airs a discussion topic. An addition to the Creepapedia: friends who platonically cuddle. Terrible parenting: today at Trader Joe's a woman's child was crying in line, so she left the line, went to the dairy section, grabbed a package of processed singles, opened it, and started stuffing cheese slices into the baby's mouth to shut it up. Maybe one day I'll get the nerve or inspiration to call in, but until then I'll be a heavy-breathing fangirl listening via podcast.
Do you ever get your hopes up about something and then your spirit gets crushed? And there's nothing you can even do about it because it's all only a possibility you built up in your head? I think that's happening to me right now for a couple of things. "The Graduate" painted post-college as this weird nihilistic time but I just care too much about everything. (Well, not everything, apparently a customer complained yesterday that the girl working was too "nasty.")

Elizabeth Berkley was younger than me when she made Showgirls. She may have looked thirty-five, but she was actually only twenty.
I need to get a "real job" (not at a video store where you're paid minimum wage in cash) as soon as possible, and to start producing something great. I didn't wake up thinking Nomi Malone would inspire me to up the ante on the job search, but life is unpredictable.
